The Lindenwood Lions will hit the road to start this year's campaign against the Kansas Jayhawks. Kickoff is scheduled at 8:00 p.m. ET on Thursday at Children's Mercy Park.
A big factor in this game might be rushing touchdowns, as these two were some of the best in the league in that department last year. Lindenwood were ranked 13th in the nation last season, with nine over the course of the season. Kansas did even better, as they were ranked 12th with 31 in total.
Looking back to last season, Lindenwood finished on the wrong side of .500 (3-7), but they'll be hoping to turn things around this year. On the other hand, Kansas had a phenomenal run, finishing with a superb 8-4 record.
