The Navy Midshipmen turned the game against the Kansas State Wildcats into a track meet and took the gold after outgaining them 416 yards to 156. It was close, but on Tuesday Navy capped 2019 off with a 20-17 win over K-State. Having forecasted a close victory for the Midshipmen, the oddsmakers were right on the money.
The Midshipmen's QB Malcolm Perry was on fire, passing for one TD and 98 yards on eight attempts in addition to picking up 213 yards on the ground.
K-State's only touchdown came on a rush from QB Skylar Thompson.
Navy's victory brought them up to 10-2. K-State's loss pushes them down to 8-4. With that, the West Division playoffs come to an end.
