James Madison vs. Old Dominion: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game

James Madison will be playing the full four quarters on Saturday, but they're expected to have things wrapped up well before that. They will be playing at home against the Old Dominion Monarchs at 8:00 p.m. ET at Showker Field at Bridgeforth Stadium. James Madison is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.

Last Thursday, James Madison earned a 20-9 victory over Marshall.

Jordan McCloud was his usual excellent self, throwing for 264 yards and a touchdown, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground. James Madison also got help from Reggie Brown who showed off his sure hands for 126 receiving yards.

The team's defense also helped out by holding Marshall to a paltry 169 yards. A big part of that defensive dominance came down to James Madison's ability to keep the quarterback under pressure: the team laid him out eight times before it was all said and done. Leading the way was Jalen Green and his five sacks.

Meanwhile, Old Dominion was not the first on the board last Saturday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against App. State by a score of 28-21. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Old Dominion.

Old Dominion's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keshawn Wicks, who rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Kadarius Calloway, who gained 124 total yards and a touchdown.

Old Dominion was down by one with only three minutes and 46 seconds left when they drove 71 yards for the winning score. Wicks punched in the touchdown from 16 yards out.

James Madison's win was their fifth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 7-0. As for Old Dominion, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Not only did both teams in this Saturday's game win their last matches, they also took care of their bettors and covered the spread. As mentioned, James Madison is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 20 points. This contest will be their fifth straight as the favorites (so far over this stretch they are 4-0 against the spread).

Everything came up roses for James Madison against Old Dominion in their previous matchup back in November of 2022 as the squad secured a 37-3 victory. Does James Madison have another victory up their sleeve, or will Old Dominion turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
