The Wyoming Cowboys and the Illinois Fighting Illini are opening their 2022 seasons against one another at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday at Memorial Stadium. Wyoming was on the positive side of .500 (7-6) last season and is hoping to kick off an even more successful year. Meanwhile, last year was nothing to brag about for Illinois (5-7), so the team is looking forward to a new start.

The Wyoming sideline is surely aware that they're the underdogs in this one. We'll soon see whether they can make the experts look bad.
