The Illinois Fighting Illini were expected to take an 'L' in this one, but so far it isn't playing out to script. Either team is in a position to win, but they lead 10-7.

They have been riding high on the performance of QB Brandon Peters, who has passed for one TD and 59 yards on eight attempts in addition to picking up 43 yards on the ground.

This is the first time the Fighting Illini have been ahead going into the second quarter in the past two games.
