HAW vs. SDSU: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAAF game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Hawaii vs. San Diego State football game
Game Recap
The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors won the last time they met up with the San Diego State Aztecs, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. The Rainbow Warriors skirted past San Diego State 14-11. Kudos to the oddsmakers for accurately forecasting both the winner and the close margin.
WR Jason-Matthew Sharsh didn't help Hawaii's cause all that much against the UNLV Rebels last week, but the same can't be said for this game. The Rainbow Warriors' Sharsh filled up the stat sheet. He caught ten passes for 95 yards and one TD.
San Diego State's only touchdown came from QB Ryan Agnew.
The victory bumped Hawaii's record up to 7-4. San Diego State's overall record now falls to 8-2.
Hawaii has the luxury of staying at home another week and will welcome the Army West Point Black Knights next week at Hawaiian Airlines Field at Aloha Stadium. Army West Point is also hoping to continue their momentum after a win last week. San Diego State will be playing in front of their home fans against the BYU Cougars at 9 p.m. ET at SDCCU Stadium.
