The Ball State Cardinals will head out on the road to face off against the Georgia Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Sanford Stadium.
Ball State had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. The matchup between they and Kentucky wasn't particularly close, with Ball State falling 44-14. The last quarter was a mere formality, since it was already 37-14 by the end of the third quarter.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Georgia over UT Martin in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. Georgia was the clear victor by a 48-7 margin over UT Martin. Winning is a bit easier when you post 299 more yards than your opponent, as Georgia did.
Ball State is the clear underdog, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one. They finished last season with an even 6-6 record against the spread.
