Fresno State vs. Oregon State Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Fresno State vs. Oregon State football game
The Fresno State Bulldogs have the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome the Oregon State Beavers at 10:30 p.m. ET Sept. 10 at Bulldog Stadium. With a combined 1,015 yards of offense in their previous games, we can expect a fast-paced matchup.
When you finish with 228 more yards than your opponent like the Bulldogs did last week, a favorable outcome is almost sure to follow. They put the hurt on the Cal Poly Mustangs with a sharp 35-7 victory. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Fresno State had established a 28-7 advantage. Their RB Jordan Mims looked sharp as he punched in two rushing touchdowns in addition to snatching one receiving TD.
Meanwhile, Oregon State was hampered by 100 penalty yards against the Boise State Broncos last week, but luckily for them that wasn't the tale of the game. Oregon State captured a comfortable 34-17 win. No one had a standout game offensively for Oregon State, but they got scores from a handful of players including LB Jack Colletto, RB Deshaun Fenwick, and TE Luke Musgrave.
Oregon State's defense was a force to be reckoned with, as it collected three interceptions and two fumbles. Those interceptions were spread across their defensive unit.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 1-0. Watch the contest and check back on CBS Sports to find out who keeps up the positive energy and who hits a stumbling block.
