Game Recap
After losing to the New Mexico Lobos the last time they met, the Fresno State Bulldogs decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Fresno State was the clear victor by a 34-7 margin over New Mexico. With the Bulldogs ahead 24 to nothing at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Fresno State QB Jake Haener was slinging it as he passed for three TDs and 300 yards on 31 attempts. Fresno State also got help from RB Jordan Mims, who showed off his sure hands for 103 receiving yards in the victory.
The losing side was boosted by RB Aaron Dumas, who rushed for one TD and 143 yards on 23 carries. Dumas' longest run was for 63 yards in the first quarter.
The win improved Fresno State's record to 8-3. New Mexico's overall record fell to 3-7.
