Fresno State vs. Colorado State updates: Live NCAAF game scores, results for Thursday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Fresno State vs. Colorado State football game
Game Recap
The Colorado State Rams were the 41-31 winners over the Fresno State Bulldogs when they previously met last October. On Thursday? They had no such luck. The Rams ended up on the wrong side of a painful 38-17 walloping at Fresno State's hands. It was supposed to be a close matchup, and Colorado State was supposed to come out on top, but neither of those things ended up happening.
RB Ronnie Rivers had a stellar game for the Bulldogs as he punched in two rushing touchdowns in addition to snatching one receiving TD. QB Jake Haener had a good game, too, finishing with three touchdowns.
TE Trey McBride put forth a good effort for the losing side as he caught eight passes for one TD and 130 yards.
The loss dropped the Rams back to even at 0-0. The victory bumped Fresno State's record up to 0-1.
Colorado State will square off against the Wyoming Cowboys at 9 p.m. ET next Thursday at Canvas Stadium. As for Fresno State, they will go up against the UNLV Rebels at 3:30 p.m. ET next week at Allegiant Stadium.
