Live scores, highlights and updates from the Florida vs. Missouri football game
Game Recap
On Saturday, the Florida Gators turned the game against the Missouri Tigers into a track meet and took the gold after outgaining them 514 yards to 248. Everything went the Gators' way against Mizzou as they made off with a 41-17 win. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Florida had established a 34-7 advantage.
QB Kyle Trask had a stellar game for Florida as he passed for four TDs and 347 yards on 36 attempts in addition to picking up 47 yards on the ground. RB Kadarius Toney also deserves a shout-out for his three TDs.
Mizzou's only offensive touchdown came from RB Larry Rountree III.
The victory improved Florida's record to 3-0. The Tigers' overall record fell to 2-3.
The Gators will square off against the Georgia Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. ET next Saturday at TIAA Bank Field. Mizzou will need a sterling offensive performance if they want to penetrate an unbending defense that has allowed an average of only 16.2 points per game. They can take some time to mend their wounds since their next matchup isn't for a while. They will face UGA at Memorial Stadium at Faurot Field at 1 p.m. ET in two weeks.
