FLA vs. UK Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAAF game

Through 3 Quarters

The Florida Gators were the heavy favorites here for a reason. After three quarters it's looking more and more like their high-powered offense is just too much for the Kentucky Wildcats as the Gators lead 31-10.

TE Kyle Pitts has led the way so far for Florida, as he has caught four passes for three TDs and 77 yards. One of the most thrilling moments was Pitts' 56-yard TD reception in the first quarter. Another playmaker for Florida has been RB Kadarius Toney, who returned a punt 50 yards to the end zone in the second quarter.

UK has been riding high on the performance of TE Keaton Upshaw, who has snatched one receiving TD.

UK has lost 100% of their games in which they were down going into the fourth quarter. Barring a miraculous turnaround, this game will end the same way.

Who's Playing

Kentucky @ No. 6 Florida

Current Records: Kentucky 3-5; Florida 6-1

What to Know

The Kentucky Wildcats are 1-4 against the Florida Gators since September of 2015, but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit Saturday. UK and Florida will face off in an SEC battle at noon ET at Florida Field at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The Gators will be strutting in after a win while UK will be stumbling in from a loss.

A victory for UK just wasn't in the stars last week as the squad never even grasped a temporary lead. They were pulverized by the Alabama Crimson Tide 63-3. UK was down 49-3 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. QB Terry Wilson had a memorable game, but not in the way you want to be remembered: besides failing to produce a single touchdown, he threw one interception with only 120 yards passing.

Meanwhile, the Gators took their matchup against the Vanderbilt Commodores last week by a conclusive 38-17 score. It was another big night for Florida's QB Kyle Trask, who passed for three TDs and 383 yards on 35 attempts.

The Wildcats are the clear underdogs, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one. They have failed bettors playing the spread in their past two games, so buyers beware.

Kentucky's defeat took them down to 3-5 while Florida's victory pulled them up to 6-1. The Gators have been dynamite on the offensive side of the ball, averaging 44.71 points per game. We'll see if UK can find some way to disarm them.
