Eastern Michigan vs. Ohio: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Tuesday's NCAAF game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Eastern Michigan vs. Ohio football game
Game Recap
If the Eastern Michigan Eagles were expecting to get some payback for the 27-20 loss against the Ohio Bobcats when they previously met in September of 2017, then they were left disappointed. EMU came up short against Ohio this past Tuesday, falling 34-26.
The Bobcats' QB Kurtis Rourke did his thing and passed for three TDs and 230 yards on 17 attempts in addition to picking up 55 yards on the ground. Near the top of the highlight reel was Rourke's 66-yard TD bomb to WR Cameron Odom in the fourth quarter. WR Isiah Cox also deserves a shout-out for his two TDs.
The losing side was boosted by RB Samson Evans, who punched in two rushing touchdowns.
The Eagles' defeat pushed them down to 6-4. Ohio's win brought them up to 3-7.
EMU will be hunkering down at home again for their contest against the Western Michigan Broncos at noon ET Nov. 16 at Rynearson Stadium. With a combined 985 yards of offense in their previous games, we can expect a fast-paced game. As for Ohio, they will go up against the Toledo Rockets at noon ET on Tuesday at Peden Stadium.
