College football scores, NCAA top 25 rankings, Week 11: Indiana sets up Ohio State showdown, Oregon rallies
NCAA football scores and highlights from the teams in action during Week 11 of the 2020 season
When the Big Ten finally began its season last month, the most-anticipated game on the league's schedule was an Oct. 31 showdown between No. 3 Ohio State and Penn State. It was supposed to be a game between top-10 division rivals who both harbored league title and College Football Playoff aspirations. It turns out we're going to get a game fitting that bill -- it's just coming a bit later than expected with an opponent for the Buckeyes that few would have predicted.
When No. 10 Indiana dismantled Michigan State 24-0 on Saturday, the Hoosiers set up a game of massive proportions at No. 3 Ohio State next week. Penn State is reeling -- the Nittany Lions fell to 0-4 on Saturday -- but Indiana has picked up the slack to play the role of challenger to the Buckeyes in the Big Ten East. Indiana last beat Ohio State in 1988, but the Hoosiers already snapped one such streak this season when they defeated Michigan last week for the first time since 1987. On Saturday, they handed the Spartans their first shutout home loss since 1985.
If the Hoosiers pull off the upset, there will be plenty of teams waiting in the shadows to take Ohio State's place in the College Football Playoff race. One of them will be No. 11 Oregon, which survived a hearty effort from Washington State on Saturday to win 43-29 and improve to 2-0. The Ducks struggled in the first half but showed they still deserve to be in the CFP hunt as they navigate a truncated league schedule that continues next with a game against UCLA.

Gators eat
Feleipe Franks goes 15-of-19 for 250 yards, 2 TDs and 0 INTs in his return to the Swamp. But that nice performance goes totally overshadowed by the dominant effort from his former backup as Kyle Trask throws SIX touchdowns for the second time this season to lead the No. 6 Gators to a 63-35 win.
Ducks 2-0
It wasn't a cakewalk -- Oregon vs. Washington State rarely is -- but the Ducks improve to 2-0 and should still be favored in every game moving forward. This could've been a bad day for the Pac-12 with USC and Oregon both struggling at times. But both survive and should remain ranked when the new polls come out.
Tulsa does it
Hats off to the Golden Hurricane for this unlikely comeback. Tulsa now in position to make the AAC title game, though it has to play Cincinnati in the regular season finale.
TULSA ON TOP
What a comeback for Tulsa. This one is coming down to the wire.
AAC Drama!
Down 21-0 early Tulsa has fought back and is within 24-21 midway through the fourth quarter. Lot at stake for both teams as they fight for second place behind Cincinnati in the league standings.
Oregon back on track
It's been a frustrating night for Oregon, but the Ducks are in a rythym offensively now and driving as the fourth quarter starts. 21-19 Oregon.
Heisman performance?
Kyle Trask is at six touchdown passes, and Florida leads Arkansas 56-21. Really impressive performance without Kyle Pitts against a solid Arkansas squad.
Ducks frustration
Oregon is moving the football at least somewhat well. But the Ducks have three turnovers, and now a missed field goal, as they trail Washington State 19-14 in the third quarter. A loss would essentially end the Pac-12's hopes of getting a team to the playoff.
Michigan meltdown
Not much you can say about Michigan right now other than that things are really, really bad.
2020 is so weird
Northwestern squeaks out a 27-20 win over Purdue and is 4-0 for the first time since 1996.
No Pitts, no problem
Kyle Trask is absolutely rolling, even with top target Kyle Pitts out tonight. Just threw his FIFTH touchdown of the first half. Now 18-of-22 for 285 yards. Gators up 35-14 on Arkansas with 17 seconds left before the half.
Tulsa showing life
SMU led 21-0, but Tulsa just scored to stay in it late in the second quarter. Remarkable how well this Mustangs team has kept chugging offensively despite the loss of some key playmakers.
Meanwhile, in Ann Arbor, as Wisconsin goes up 14-0 on Michigan...
SWERVE!
So yeah, Oregon isn't ahead anymore. In fact, the Ducks might be in trouble.

Ducks up early
Oregon took an early lead, but here's your friendly reminder that Washington State had won four straight in this game until last season.
Tied up at the Swamp
Florida went on a methodical scoring drive to take an early 7-0 lead. But the Razorbacks are not intimidated as the Feleipe Franks revenge effort gets off to a nice start with this bomb. 7-7 after one quarter.
Trojans do it again!
For the second week in a row, USC's offense came alive late with a couple of clutch touchdown drives to win in dramatic fashion.
Arizona back in front
Grant Gunnell leads Arizona down the field for a go-ahead TD with 1:35 left. Might have left too much time on the clock for Kedon Slovis, though. 30-27 as the Trojans prepare to get it back.
Down to the wire
USC's defense makes a stand, but Arizona gets a 51-yard field goal to take a 23-20 lead with 7:49 remaining. Should be a good finish.
QB Graham Mertz appears to be ready for Wisconsin's game against Michigan. He reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 a couple of weeks ago.

Pac-12 upset?
USC dominate the third quarter statistically but having trouble actually scoring. This set up a 4th-and-short that failed. 20-20 early in the fourth quarter.
Legendary bloodlines
Well, Stanford is getting trounced by Colorado. But this is pretty cool.
Highlight catch!
Great play by St. Brown, but USC only got a field goal out of this and Arizona has already tied it up. 20-20 midway through the third quarter.
