Clemson vs. FAU updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Clemson vs. Florida Atlantic football game
FAU haven't yet left their home-field this season, but they'll have to hit the road on Saturday. They will face off against the Clemson Tigers at 8:00 p.m. ET at Memorial Stadium.
The point spread favored FAU on Saturday, but luck did not. They fell 17-10 to Ohio. FAU's low scoring loss was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the match before.
Meanwhile, after a disappointing seven points in their last contest, Clemson made sure to put some points up on the board against Charleston Southern on Saturday. Clemson really took it to Charleston Southern for a full 4 quarters, racking up a 66-17 victory at home. The success represented a nice turnaround for Clemson who in their last game suffered a tough 28-7 loss.
QB Cade Klubnik looked spectacular while leading his team to the win, throwing for 315 yards and four touchdowns on 37 attempts. RB Jay Haynes did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of six receiving yards.
FAU have quite the challenge ahead of them as they're expected to be blown off the court. They finished last season with an even 6-6 record against the spread.
While the Owls are hoping for a better result this time, the Tigers are hoping to keep the momentum going. Check back to see if FAU can bounce back or if Clemson can keep them down.
