Game Recap
On Saturday, the UTEP Miners were out to avenge their 28-21 defeat to the Charlotte 49ers from their previous meeting last November, but they had no such luck. The Miners fell to Charlotte 38-28. This makes it the second loss in a row for UTEP.
RB Aaron McAllister was the offensive standout of the contest for Charlotte, punching in two rushing touchdowns. That's the most rushing touchdowns McAllister has had all year. QB Chris Reynolds didn't exactly stuff the stat sheet, but finished with two touchdowns.

The Miners will be playing at home against the North Texas Mean Green at 2 p.m. ET next Saturday. North Texas is 0-1 after wins this season, and UTEP is 1-1 after losses. As for Charlotte, they will face off against the Duke Blue Devils at noon ET next Saturday at Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium. Unlike Charlotte, Duke will be stumbling in off of a loss.
