The Southern Illinois Salukis will start their season against the BYU Cougars. Kickoff is scheduled at 8:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at LaVell Edwards Stadium.

Looking back to last season, BYU finished on the wrong side of .500 (5-7), but they'll be hoping to turn things around this year. On the other hand, Southern Illinois assembled a winning record last year, finishing the season 8-5.

Going forward, BYU is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 14.5 points. They finished last season with a 5-7 record against the spread.
