The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. They will square off against the Buffalo Bulls at noon ET on Saturday at UB Stadium. Coastal Carolina won't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy a 14-point advantage in the spread.
The Chanticleers made easy work of the Kansas Jayhawks last Friday and carried off a 49-22 win. Among those leading the charge for Coastal Carolina was RB Reese White, who rushed for three TDs and 102 yards on 14 carries.
Meanwhile, a victory for Buffalo just wasn't in the stars last week as the team never even grasped a temporary lead. Things couldn't have gone much worse for them as they lost 28-3 to the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Buffalo might not have won anyway, but their 88 penalty yards sure didn't help matters. QB Kyle Vantrease had a pretty forgettable game, throwing one interception with only 4.48 yards per passing attempt.
Coastal Carolina's win lifted them to 2-0 while Buffalo's defeat dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Coastal Carolina can add another positive mark to their record or if the Bulls can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Coastal Carolina's step.
