The Oklahoma State Cowboys are still undefeated after their matchup against the Boise State Broncos on Saturday, but Boise State came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Cowboys slipped by Boise State 21-20. The Oklahoma State offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Oklahoma State's RB Jaylen Warren was on fire, rushing for two TDs and 218 yards on 32 carries. One of the most memorable plays of the contest was Warren's 75-yard touchdown rush in the first quarter.
No one had a standout game offensively for Boise State, but they got scores from RB Cyrus Habibi-Likio and WR Davis Koetter.
The victory improved Oklahoma State's record to 3-0. The Broncos' loss pushed them down to 1-2.
The Cowboys will square off against the Kansas State Wildcats at 7 p.m. ET next Saturday at Boone Pickens Stadium. Like Oklahoma State, K-State is also coming into the game bolstered by a recent win. As for Boise State, they will face off against the Utah State Aggies at noon ET next Saturday at Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium.
