Boise State vs. Air Force score: Live game updates, highlights, college football scores, full coverage
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Boise State vs. Air Force football game on Friday
A Mountain West battle is on tap between Air Force and Boise State at 9 p.m. ET on Friday at Albertsons Stadium. Air Force isn't expected to win, but seeing as the odds didn't stop it last game, maybe the squad has another upset up their sleeve. Last week, the Falcons had a touchdown and change to spare in a 30-23 win over Colorado. Kadin Remsberg and Donald Hammond III were among the main playmakers for Air Force as the former rushed for 146 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries, and the latter passed for 155 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Boise State might be getting used to good results now that the team has three wins in a row. It claimed a resounding 45-10 victory over Portland State. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Boise State had established a 38-10 advantage.
The wins bumped Air Force to 2-0 and Boise State to 3-0. A couple defensive stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: The Falcons come into the contest boasting the sixth-fewest rushing touchdowns allowed at one. As for the Broncos, they rank fifth when it comes to sacks with 13 on the season. We'll find out if either of these strengths ends up making the difference in the matchup.
Final: Boise State able to pull away in the fourth quarter for the 30-19 win at home. Hank Bachmeier finishes with 263 yards through the air, while receiver CT Thomas pulls in five catches for 119 yards and a score. The Broncos move to 4-0 on the season.
End 3Q: The Broncos are trying to survive a scare at home, leading 17-13 heading into the fourth quarter. QB Hank Bachmeier has led the charge for Boise State, throwing for 233 yards on 17-of-24 passing with two touchdowns.
End 2Q: Boise State and Air Force are knotted 10-10 at the half. Broncos wide receiver CT Thomas is on pace for a solid outing with four catches for 96 yards and a touchdown. The Air Force ground game, naturally, is keeping the Falcons in this one with 152 yards rushing.
