JC transfer CB Deion Belue returned an INT off QB AJ McCarron for a 97-yard TD in Alabama's first spring scrimmage. "He has played well, he's a good cover guy, he learns quickly, really instinctive," coach Nick Saban said of Belue. "We're pleased with the progress he's made." Sophomore S Vinnie Sunseri added a 38-yard INT return for a TD.
