Game Recap
The Ball State Cardinals can't say they have nothing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving week. They enjoyed a cozy 20-3 win over the Buffalo Bulls this past Tuesday. The squad ran away with 17 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those in the second to pick up the victory.
No one had a standout game offensively for the Cardinals, but they got two touchdowns from QB Drew Plitt. On the other hand, one thorn in Ball State's side was the less-than-spectacular play of RB Carson Steele, who rushed for 45 yards on 25 carries.
Ball State's defense was a presence, as it collected four interceptions. Those interceptions were spread across their defensive unit.
The win got Ball State back to even at 6-6. Buffalo has fallen quite a ways from their 6-1 record from last season and are now 4-8. With that, the West Division playoffs come to an end.
