The Troy Trojans were expected to take an 'L' in this one, but so far it isn't playing out to script. After three quarters it's looking more and more like their high-powered offense is just too much for the Arkansas State Red Wolves as Troy lead 24-10.
Both the Trojans and Arkansas State suffered losses in their previous contests, but Troy is closer to making up for it this week. Troy just need to hang on one more quarter to get back on their feet.

What to Know
The Troy Trojans have enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they must head out on the road. Troy and the Arkansas State Red Wolves will face off in a Sun Belt battle at 3 p.m. ET Saturday at Centennial Bank Stadium. If the matchup is anything like Arkansas State's 50-43 win from their previous meeting September of last year, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.
The Trojans were close but no cigar last week as they fell 36-34 to the Georgia State Panthers. Troy's defeat came about despite a quality game from WR Reggie Todd, who caught eight passes for one TD and 130 yards. That receiving effort made it the first game that Todd has posted more than 100 yards receiving.
Meanwhile, the Red Wolves suffered a grim 45-17 defeat to the Appalachian State Mountaineers last Thursday. Arkansas State was down 38-17 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. No one had a standout game offensively for Arkansas State, but they got scores from RB Jamal Jones and RB Lincoln Pare.
Troy is expected to lose this next one by 3. Now might not be the best time to take the Trojans against the spread since they've let down bettors for the past two consecutive games.
The losses put Troy at 3-2 and the Red Wolves at 3-3. A couple offensive stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Troy comes into the contest boasting the 13th most passing touchdowns in the nation at 13. But Arkansas State is even better: they enter the game with 23 passing touchdowns, which is the best in the nation. We'll see if that edge gives Arkansas State a route to victory.
