Arkansas vs. Kansas Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Wednesday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Arkansas vs. Kansas football game
The Arkansas Razorbacks and the Kansas Jayhawks will compete for holiday cheer in the Liberty Bowl on Wednesday at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium at 5:30 p.m. ET. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W.'
It was close but no cigar for Arkansas as they fell 29-27 to the Missouri Tigers four weeks ago. The losing side was boosted by QB KJ Jefferson, who passed for two TDs and 205 yards on 27 attempts in addition to rushing for one TD and 38 yards.
Meanwhile, the Jayhawks lost to the Kansas State Wildcats on the road by a decisive 47-27 margin. Kansas' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of RB Devin Neal, who punched in two rushing touchdowns, and QB Jalon Daniels, who accumulated 168 passing yards in addition to rushing for one TD and 51 yards. Neal had some trouble finding his footing against the Texas Longhorns five weeks ago, so this was a step in the right direction.
Two stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: The Razorbacks come into the game boasting the 15th fewest thrown interceptions in the nation at six. The Jayhawks are completely their equal: they also come into the matchup with six thrown interceptions. So expect both teams to feel comfortable airing the ball out.
