Game Recap
The Georgia Bulldogs had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday as they made off with a 37-10 victory. The margin was wide but not a surprise since the spread was 28 points in UGA favor.
UGA QB Stetson Bennett was slinging it as he passed for two TDs and 211 yards on 29 attempts. Georgia's DB Eric Stokes got in on the action, too, converting a pick in the third quarter into a touchdown.
No one had a standout game offensively for Arkansas, but they got one touchdown from WR Treylon Burks. De'Vion Warren's longest catch was for 28 yards in the first quarter.
This was the first matchup for both teams, starting off UGA at 1-0 and the Razorbacks at a reverse 0-1.
UGA will square off against the Auburn Tigers at 7:30 p.m. ET next Saturday at Sanford Stadium. Auburn is also hoping to continue their momentum after a 29-13 win over the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday. As for Arkansas, they will face off against the Mississippi State Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. ET next Saturday at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field.
