Game Recap
On Friday, the Arizona Wildcats were out to avenge their 44-27 defeat to the Washington Huskies from their previous meeting last November, but they had no such luck. Arizona didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 21-16 to Washington. The Wildcats were up 13 to nothing at the end of the half but couldn't hold on to the lead.
WR Terrell Bynum was the offensive standout of the matchup for Washington, catching five passes for one TD and 143 yards. On the other hand, RB Sean McGrew had a very so-so game, which wouldn't be worth mentioning except that he carried the ball significantly more than any other Washington running back.
Arizona's only offensive touchdown came from WR Jamarye Joiner.
The loss dropped Arizona's record to 0-7. The victory improved the Huskies' record to 3-4.
The Wildcats will take on the USC Trojans at 7 p.m. ET next week at United Airlines Field at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Washington will hit the road for the second straight week as they head to Stanford Stadium at 10:30 p.m. ET next week. The Stanford Cardinal took a loss in their last game and are no doubt out to reverse Washington's good fortune.
