Arizona vs. Colorado: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAAF game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Arizona vs. Colorado football game
Game Recap
What a game for RB Jarek Broussard. Broussard picked up 301 yards on the ground on 25 carries as the Colorado Buffaloes beat the Arizona Wildcats 24-13 on Saturday. Broussard's longest run was for 75 yards in the second quarter.
In addition to Broussard, the Buffaloes got help from RB Ashaad Clayton, who punched in two rushing touchdowns.
Arizona's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of RB Michael Wiley, who picked up 122 yards on the ground on seven carries, and RB Gary Brightwell, who rushed for one TD and 117 yards on 22 carries. That nimble footwork stands out as the first time Wiley has hit the 100-yard rushing mark this season. One thing holding the Wildcats back was the mediocre play of QB Will Plummer, who did not have his best game: besides failing to produce a single touchdown, he threw one interception with only 154 yards passing.
The contest brought Colorado to 4-0 and dropped Arizona to a mirror-image 0-4.
Colorado will look to defend their home turf next Friday against the Utah Utes at 9:30 p.m. ET. Arizona will stay at home against the Arizona State Sun Devils at 7 p.m. ET Dec. 11 at Arizona Stadium.
