Air Force vs. Colorado updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Air Force vs. Colorado football game
The Colorado Buffaloes will square off against the Air Force Falcons at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Falcon Stadium. Colorado will be seeking to avenge the 30-23 loss they suffered the last time these two teams played Sept. 14 of 2019.
The Buffaloes were expected to have a tough go of it last week, and that's exactly how things played out. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 38-13 walloping at the TCU Horned Frogs' hands. This game was a close 7-6 at the break, but unfortunately for Colorado it sure didn't stay that way. No one had a standout game offensively for Colorado, but they got scores from WR Jordyn Tyson and QB J.T. Shrout.
Meanwhile, Air Force turned the game against the Northern Iowa Panthers into a track meet and took the gold after outgaining them 688 yards to 405. Air Force made easy work of Northern Iowa last week and carried off a 48-17 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27-3. The Falcons relied on the efforts of S Dane Kinamon, who punched in one rushing touchdown in addition to catching one pass for one TD and 80 yards, and QB Haaziq Daniels, who passed for one TD and 109 yards on six attempts in addition to rushing for one TD and 107 yards. One of the most thrilling moments was Kinamon's 80-yard TD reception in the first quarter.
Air Force's win lifted them to 1-0 while Colorado's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll see if Air Force can repeat their recent success or if Colorado bounces back and reverse their fortune.
