The Thunder waived Lakhin on Monday, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.
Lakhin will likely head over to the Thunder's G League affiliate. The 6-foot-11 forward blocked 1.5 shots per game for Clemson during his final collegiate season in 2024-25 and went undrafted this spring.

Thunder's Viktor Lakhin: Signs with Thunder
The Thunder signed Lakhin on Sunday, Brandon Rahbar of DailyThunder.com reports.
Lakhin appeared in 34 contests during the 2024-25 season at Clemson and averaged 11.4 points and 6.4 rebounds on 50.7 percent shooting from the field. This is likely an Exhibit 10 contract with the Thunder looking to fill out their G League roster.

Thunder's Viktor Lakhin: Doesn't see floor
Lakhin (foot) didn't see the floor in Thursday's 90-81 Summer League win over the Nets.
Lakhin was diagnosed with a torn tendon in his left foot back in early May. He was considered a possible second-rounder in the 2025 NBA Draft before this news. Lakhin was given a three-month timetable, and while it's unclear if he'll be involved in live action during the Summer League, it seems likely that the Thunder are looking to consider him as a possible candidate for a two-way deal.
