Hawks' N'Faly Dante: Heads to Atlanta
Dante's (ankle) contract with the Hawks became official on Tuesday.
The Hawks signed Dante to a two-year, $4.5 million offer sheet back on Saturday, and the Rockets declined to match the deal. He's unlikely to crack the rotation early on in Atlanta, and he could see the bulk of his minutes in the G League.

Hawks' N'Faly Dante: Inks offer sheet with Atlanta
The Hawks signed Dante to a two-year, $4.5 million offer sheet, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Dante has agreed to an unprecedented deal, signing an offer sheet as a two-way restricted free agent. He played four regular-season games with Houston during the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 6.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game while shooting 76.9 percent from the field.

Rockets' N'Faly Dante: Doesn't play in SL finale
Dante (ankle) didn't play in Saturday's 104-101 Summer League win over the Timberwolves.
Dante sustained a sprained left ankle in Monday's overtime loss to the Hawks in Summer League play and didn't return for the team's final two games. The 23-year-old center spent the 2024-25 campaign on a two-way pact with Houston but appeared in only four regular-season outings for the parent club. Over 42 games with the G League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers in 2024-25, Dante averaged 15.0 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.1 blocks and 1.1 assists across 26.8 minutes per contest.

Dante (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday's Summer League game against the Trail Blazers, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Rockets' N'Faly Dante: Exits early with ankle injury
Dante (ankle) will not return to Monday's Summer League contest against the Hawks, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Dante left Monday's game early in the first quarter with a reported left ankle sprain. He had been receiving steady minutes in Summer League play, including a 19-minute showing Sunday against the Pistons in which he posted six points, four rebounds, three assists and two blocks. The big man saw limited NBA action last season, appearing in just four regular-season games for the Rockets and averaging 6.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 12.8 minutes per contest.

Rockets' N'Faly Dante: Makes NBA debut Monday
Dante racked up 10 points (4-6 FG, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds, two blocks and one assist over 19 minutes during Monday's 137-128 loss to Oklahoma City.
Dante made his NBA debut Monday, as four of the club's usual starters were sidelined. The big man finished one rebound shy of a double-double in an efficient performance. The 23-year-old will likely struggle to earn playing time unless several injuries to key contributors arise, though his level of play Monday is an encouraging sign for the future. The two-way center has appeared in 31 games for the club's G League affiliate, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, averaging 14.1 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.2 blocks, 1.1 assists and 1.0 steals across 25.7 minutes per contest this season.

Rockets' N'Faly Dante: Assigned to G League
Houston assigned Dante to the G League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Tuesday, Kelly Iko of The Athletic reports.
Dante made his NBA debut Monday against the Thunder, finishing with 10 points (4-6 FG, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds, two blocks and one assist over 19 minutes. The Rockets are likely to get some healthy bodies back in the rotation Tuesday, so it's not a surprise to see Dante back with the Vipers.

Rockets' N'Faly Dante: Recalled to NBA
Houston recalled Dante from the G League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Monday.
The Rockets could be shorthanded for Monday's game against the Thunder, and they could use some frontcourt depth with Alperen Sengun (back) and Steven Adams (ankle) considered questionable.

Rockets' N'Faly Dante: Returns from G League
The Rockets recalled Dante from the G League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Tuesday, Vanessa Richardson of Space City Home Network reports.
Earlier Tuesday, Dante played 27 minutes in Rio Grande Valley's 124-112 loss to the Austin Spurs, finishing with 16 points (8-10 FG), 13 rebounds, four blocks, two assists and two steals. The rookie big man will be available for Wednesday's game against the Warriors but probably won't factor into the rotation.

Rockets' N'Faly Dante: Agrees to two-way deal with Houston
Dante has agreed to a two-way contract with the Rockets, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Dante put in averages of 17.0 points, 9.2 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.9 swats per contest during his senior year at Oregon, but the 6-foot-10, 260-pound big man could have a tough time adjusting to the NBA. While he does have good defensive instincts, he's not particularly comfortable sliding his feet on the perimeter, and he hasn't developed much of a shooting stroke. Expect him to spend a lot of time with Houston's G League affiliate.
