McNeeley (Achilles) is out for Sunday's Summer League finale against the Kings.
McNeeley will miss a fourth straight game to close Summer League due to right Achilles tendinitis. McNeeley had a productive stint in Las Vegas before being shut down due to injury, averaging 18.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 29.0 minutes per game over two appearances.

McNeeley has been ruled out for Monday's Summer League game against Dallas due to right Achilles tendinopathy.
McNeeley will miss his first Summer League game due to an Achilles issue. He appeared in both games of the club's back-to-back set Friday and Saturday, averaging 18.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists across 29.0 minutes per game. His next chance to suit up will come Thursday against the Spurs.

Hornets' Liam McNeeley: Lights it up in SL debut
McNeeley generated 22 points (7-16 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 12 rebounds and six assists over 28 minutes of Friday's 111-105 win over the Jazz in Summer League.
McNeeley was revered for his three-point shooting during the pre-draft process, but he flashed his all-around game Friday and led the Hornets in points, rebounds and assists during the win. McNeeley will have to compete with players like Josh Green and Josh Okogie for bench minutes on the wing, but if Friday's performance is any indication, Charlotte will have a tough time keeping McNeeley off the floor.

Hornets' Liam McNeeley: Heading to Charlotte
McNeeley was selected by the Hornets with the No. 29 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
The selection was made by the Suns, but McNeeley will join the Hornets after Charlotte acquired this pick in the trade that sent Mark Williams to Phoenix on draft night. McNeeley made 27 appearances for UConn in his freshman year and averaged 14.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game as a one-and-done prospect. His outside shooting, shot-creation ability and facilitating role in the pick-and-roll make him a player with valuable traits, and he'll probably compete for minutes off the bench right away. However, even though he's an above-average shooter, he's not likely to make a big impact in fantasy right away as a rookie.
