The Warriors waived McMillian on Monday.
McMillian signed a training camp deal with the Warriors on Monday but was waived the same day. Golden State still holds his G League rights, and he'll likely join the Santa Cruz Warriors this season. The undrafted shooting guard spent his final collegiate season at Texas Tech, where he averaged 14.2 points and 4.0 rebounds while shooting 43.3 percent from three-point range across 32.8 minutes per game in 31 outings during the 2024-25 campaign.

Warriors' Chance McMillian: Inks deal with Golden State
McMillian is signing a contract with the Warriors, Jonathan Givony of ESPN.com reports.
McMillian took a big step forward offensively in his final season at Texas Tech, averaging 14.2 points while shooting 52.3 percent from the field over 31 games. He's also more than capable from beyond the arc, which could help him contribute at the NBA level.
