WATCH: Injured Michigan State guard checks in for final time to standing ovation
Knee injury suffered against Purdue last week ended Eron Harris' season

Michigan State senior guard Eron Harris, who suffered a season-ending knee injury last week against Purdue, checked in one final time on senior night in the final minute of the Spartans’ game against Wisconsin. As is a Michigan State senior tradition, Harris bowed down, knee brace and all, and gave the Spartan Shield a final kiss goodbye.
It capped an emotional afternoon for Harris, who watched in tears before the game as his mother sang the national anthem. But it was a fitting way to go out on top, putting a cap on a monster win for Michigan State in knocking off No. 16 Wisconsin -- pushing the Spartans one step closer to an NCAA Tournament bid in the process.
What a way to go out for the injured guard who earned a standing ovation from the home crowd and respect from his teammates and Badger opponents.
