Rhode Island is headed to the Atlantic 10 Tournament championship, with a chance to clinch a berth in this year’s NCAA Tournament. The Rams beat Davidson on Saturday, 84-60, thanks to 19 points from junior E.C. Matthews.
The 6-foot-5 guard made all four of his 3-point attempts and added three rebounds in the Rams’ blowout win. Matthews will look to have another strong game in the Atlantic 10 Tournament championship on Sunday.
