Friday's best bets at BetMGM

  • Louisville +13.5 vs. Miami (-105)
  • San Jose State +150 vs. Utah State
  • Over 47.5 in California vs. North Carolina (-105)

Combining these three picks into a Friday college football parlay at BetMGM would result in a payout of +852 (risk $100 to win $852). Bet it at BetMGM here:

Louisville +13.5 vs. Miami (-105)

Miami checked in at No. 2 in the latest AP Top 25, but is coming off a hard-fought 28-22 win over Florida State two weeks ago. The Hurricanes were actually outgained by 66 yards in that contest and needed a 3-0 win in the turnover battle to outlast the Seminoles as they scored 19 unanswered points in the fourth quarter. The defense has been dominant for the most part, but the offense has failed to clear 350 yards in a game against a power conference opponent. Meanwhile, Louisville's overtime loss to Virginia was its first of the year and Jeff Brohm led the Cardinals to a win the last time they visited Hard Rock Stadium in 2023. The model predicts that Louisville covers in 68% of simulations. Back Louisville at BetMGM Sportsbook now:

San Jose State +150 vs. Utah State

Utah State has dominated this rivalry of late, winning nine of 10 overall and covering the spread in eight of those matchups. However, the Spartans did manage a 42-21 win last year over the Aggies as 4-point home favorites in Ken Niumatalolo's first season at the helm of the program. San Jose State quarterback Walker Eget is averaging 301.5 passing yards per game this season and Utah State has given up 1,089 yards combined in back-to-back losses to Hawaii and Vanderbilt. The model predicts that the Spartans win outright in 57% of simulations. Bet San Jose State at BetMGM here:

Over 47.5 in California vs. North Carolina (-105)

Rumors are swirling around Bill Belichick potentially taking a buyout to leave North Carolina after less than a season and that certainly stood as a distraction over the bye week. Belichick's defense has given up 120 points in three games against power conference opponents so far this season and California just gave up 45 points to Duke. Justin Wilcox's offense has also turned the ball over eight times in the last three games, leading to some easy offense for Cal's opponents. The model predicts that the Over hits in 65% of simulations. Bet the Over at BetMGM:
