Sunday NFL Week 6 betting preview
Chargers vs. Dolphins, 1 p.m. ET
The Chargers have been racking up the miles over recent weeks. They flew from Los Angeles to New York to play the Giants, then back to LA for a home matchup against the Commanders, and they'll return to the East Coast to face the Dolphins on Sunday. These haven't been enjoyable flights for the Chargers, who have lost back-to-back games despite being favored in both contests. The Chargers are averaging 14 points in their two losses after scoring at least 20 points in each game during their 3-0 start. The Dolphins (1-4) are coming off a 27-24 loss on the road against the Panthers, but they won their last home contest with a 27-21 win over the Jets in Week 4 Monday Night Football. The Chargers are 4-point favorites as they look to put a stop to their favorite-losing streak, and the over/under is set at 43.5 points at Fanatics Sportsbook.
Bengals vs. Packers. 4:25 p.m. ET
The Bengals have made a quarterback change, and without much time to adjust to his new situation, their newest signal caller will start on Sunday. Cincinnati traded for veteran Joe Flacco on Tuesday, and announced on Wednesday that Flacco would start after Jake Browning went 0-3 as a starter following Joe Burrow's toe injury. The Bengals averaged 12.3 points per game in Browning's three starts, and the 29-year-old had more interceptions (five) than touchdowns (four) over those three starts. The Bengals remained as 14.5-point underdogs after the Flacco news, the same number they were with Browning expected to start, as the oddsmakers don't expect any significant improvement with Flacco at quarterback. Meanwhile, the Packers are coming off a bye and are 0-1-1 over their last two games despite being favored by 7.5 points and 6.5 points in those contests. Flacco defeated the Packers with the Browns as a 7.5-point underdog in Week 3.
Lions vs. Chiefs, 8:20 p.m. ET
The two No. 1 seeds from last year's postseason go head-to-head in Week 6 Sunday Night Football as the Chiefs try to turn around their season following a 2-3 start. Kansas City lost to the Jaguars, 31-28, on a wild final-minute Trevor Lawrence 1-yard touchdown run on a play where the quarterback fell shortly after taking the snap. The Chiefs are struggling, while the Lions have looked like arguably the best team in football since their 27-13 Week 1 loss to the Packers. The Lions have won four straight games, averaging 40.3 ppg in those victories. The Chiefs are 2.5-point favorites at home in the latest NFL odds at Fanatics Sportsbook, with an over/under set at 53 points. Claim your $250 in Fancash here:
